Bill Fisk graduated magna cum laude, with concentrations in taxation and estate planning, both with honors, from Albany Law School of Union University. Before joining the law firm on November 1, 2005, he was president of Fisk Reed & Love, P.C., the Bennington accounting firm. Prior to founding Fisk, Reed & Love, he was a partner in two international accounting firms. He is a member of the Vermont Bar and is also licensed as a CPA in Massachusetts, New York and Vermont. He holds a Master of Business Administration from Western New England College.
Mr. Fisk is a member of the American Bar Association’s business and tax law sections, the Vermont Bar Association, the National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts, the American Institute of CPAs and the Vermont Society of CPAs. He is a past chairman of the Vermont Board of Public Accountancy, and past president of the Vermont Society of Certified Public Accountants.
In 2002, Bill Fisk was named Small Business Accounting Advocate of the Year for Vermont. He is a trustee of the Regional Affordable Housing Corporation and has served on the boards of the Southwestern Vermont Health Corporation, the Bennington Rotary Club, the Green Mountain Chapter of the American Red Cross, and other organizations.
